AFUs are getting ready for new counteroffensive operations. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

The diplomat noted that the brigades are preparing both for new counter-offensive and defensive operations. He stressed that any pause would allow Russia to regroup and prepare for moves and techniques that the Ukrainian military might use.

The same newspaper, citing military experts, previously said that Ukraine's armed forces do not have the capabilities to mount a major counter-offensive. According to the authors of the article, its preparation will take at least a year.

At the same time, analysts point out that the uncertainty regarding further military aid from the United States and Western countries leads to chaos and prepares the Ukrainian Armed Forces an opportunity to build a strategy. According to Max Bergman, an expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Ukrainian military leaders cannot make plans for the coming months without knowing how much ammunition and equipment they will receive.
