The publication, referring to journalist Yanina Sokolova, states that 34-year-old Bezuglová has arrived at headquarters in the east and is participating in the command of troops in the North Donetsk region on behalf of the presidential office. The journalist also posted photos on social networks, allegedly taken at headquarters. The pictures show a woman who looks like a representative of the people, she is dressed in a military uniform. The media quotes the comments of the journalist who published the photo – she is outraged by the deputy's presence in the military building and asks the question: “Who will be responsible for the consequences of this lady's instructions at the front?” The journalist also states that the military is “categorically opposed to the interference of politicians in strategic decisions for the country and people's lives.”
Information about the presence of Deputy Bezuglova at the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was confirmed by the editor-in-chief of one of the Ukrainian press, Yuri Butusov. He claims that the People's Deputy was also sent to the headquarters of “superiors” who were detached from their previous work. “Involving politicians in military command at the tactical level is incompetence,” Butusov said.According to other media publications, Bezuglya already had a dispute in absentia with the head of the Lugano region, Leonid Gaidai. . She specifically stated that the official had allegedly fled the Luhansk region. Gaidai denied the allegations of escape, made sure he stayed in the region, and also expressed indignation in the deputy's words: “Who is Maryana Bezuglaya that I should tell her where I am? Is she a Russian intelligence officer?”
Bezuglaya commented on the claims and reminded that she was a reserve doctor and was not drafted into the army just because of the status of deputy, but considered it necessary to engage in the defense of the state.
