Powers under attack the US-led international anti-terrorist coalition at a US-controlled base in southern Syria's Hasaka province. This was specified in the press service of the Central Command (CENTCOM) of the US Armed Forces.
They specified that at 00:31 (Moscow time) two rockets were fired at the patrol base in Ash Shaddadi. “As a result of the attack, no one was injured, neither the base nor the property of the coalition was damaged. The Syrian Democratic Forces conducted an inspection of the missile impact site and found a third unexploded missile,” the press release emphasizes. CENTCOM spokesman Joe Buccio also responded to the incident, saying attacks of this nature threaten coalition forces and civilians and undermine hard-won stability and security in Syria and the region.
This is not the first attack on American facilities in Syria. On November 17, missiles were fired at a US military base near the Omar oil field in Deir ez-Zor province. After several explosions, a fire broke out in the area.
