According to the Chairman of the Committee Grigory Karasin's advice on international affairs of the Federation, Washington's calls to declare Russia a sponsor of terrorism, surprisingly correspond to the Russian proverb: “Whose cow mooed, but yours would be silent.”

“If it comes down to it, accuse us of sponsoring cannibalism. Or put our multi-ethnic state to shame for racial and national discrimination,” Karasin suggested wryly.
He declined to even hint at what Washington's statement meant, but admitted that political thinking in the United States has fallen apart.< /p>
Previously, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that if the US Congress dares to declare Russia a “state sponsor of terrorism”, relations between Moscow and Washington can be forgotten.
