About it The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) launched an offensive in the Nova Kakhovka area of the Kherson region. This was reported in the Readovka Telegram channel with reference to military correspondents who are in the zone of special operations.
It should be noted that Ukrainian troops began to move in the direction of Novaya Kamenka – Berislav. According to preliminary information, there are up to 1,000 people in the ranks of the attack force in two battalions. They are supported by a large number of drones and cannon artillery.
On the eve of the acting governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that it is necessary to evacuate residents from the right bank of the Kherson to the left, as there is a risk of damaging the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant and flooding the territory.
