Vladimir Rogov, member of the Main Council of Administration of the Zaporozhye Region announced that the Ukrainian side attempted to land in Energodar overnight today to capture the nuclear power plant, at least 30 boats took part in it. After many hours of fighting, Rogov clarified, the enemy attack was repulsed.
“Last night, a large group of landing craft crowded with militants from the special operations forces left the southern region of the city of Zaporozhye and other directions. Along with them, a large loaded ship. After the shelling of the city, there was an attempt to disembark troops, among other things, with the aim of seizing the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant,” Volodymyr Rogov described the situation. p>
It is reported that last night the armed forces of Ukraine shelled the city administration, the bridge at the entrance to the city and the electric substation “Luč”.
The attack on the nuclear power plant carried out by the armed forces of Ukraine was not the first. Meanwhile, the IAEA leadership insists on creating a protective zone around the station, and the head of the organization, Rafael Grossi, said the day before, that he considers it possible to create such a zone by the end of the year.
