Russian sailors were fined in Norway for wearing the tricolor

Two Russian sailors they were fined in Norway for wearing tricolor uniforms. The incident took place in the port of Kirkenes. The local newspaper Dagbladet wrote about him.

The Russians came ashore in camouflage work clothes. The sleeves of the suits had stripes with the Russian tricolor. Local police determined that the sailors were wearing military uniforms. Therefore, she imposed a fine of five thousand Norwegian kroner – that's 35 thousand rubles. The prosecutor explained that the decision was made based on a law that prohibits wearing a military uniform without permission.

Local authorities believe that the clothing of Russian sailors may cause fear and discomfort among Ukrainian refugees. Vessels from the Russian Federation are considered a “security threat” in Norway. Our sailors can only enter three ports.
