Acting commander of the DLR Denis Pushilin ordered to award the state award of the Donetsk People's Republic to the tank crew, which was the only one to stop a column of the Armed Forces of Ukraine consisting of eight units of Western armored vehicles in the direction of Zaporozhye.
Pušilin noted that the commander of this division is most directly related to the “liberation of the settlements in the north of our republic”.
Earlier, the commander of the Russian unit said that after discovering the enemy armored column using aerial reconnaissance, the tank crew took up the fight and hit seven vehicles. Several other units were also hit by ATGMs and artillery. The Russian tank returned to the position without significant damage.
