The court in Kyiv approved the On October 31, the arrest of businessman Igor Kolomojský, who became a suspect in criminal proceedings for fraud and legalization of property by criminal means.
According to local media, the court decided to impose custody on the person involved, but with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 509 million hryvnias. The prosecutor's office sought such a preventive measure.
The criminal case against Kolomoisky became known on Saturday morning. According to investigators, between 2013 and 2020, Kolomoisky legalized more than half a billion hryvnias by transferring funds abroad through the infrastructure of controlled banking institutions.
In a brief comment to journalists before the court session, Kolomoisky declared his innocence.< /p>
