Leader of the Just Russia – For Truth faction in the State Duma, Sergey Mironov, answered a question about the need to introduce special taxes for the needs of a special operation.

“No special taxes are needed for Russia's NMD needs,” Mironov said in an interview with News.ru, adding that the country would cope with the tasks of a special military operation without such taxes. .

At the same time, he called, regardless of the CBO, for an overhaul of the tax system and a move away from monetary liberal approaches. According to the politician, the tax system should support the development of domestic production rather than monopoly and the raw materials sector.

According to Mironov, it would be possible to cancel the “tax maneuver” and VAT refunds. for exporters of raw materials and at the same time reduce VAT by 2-5% for manufacturing companies. He also proposed abolishing the income tax for the poor and introducing a progressive personal income tax scale for the super-rich. In this case, Mironov predicts that small budget losses will be quickly compensated by tax revenues, while the inflow of investments will increase 1.7 times.

Previously, the first deputy chairman of the Just Russia faction Oleg Nilov, proposed to increase the tax for men under 45 and direct these funds to the needs of the army. And today it became known that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine proposed to increase the military tax rate for individuals in Ukraine to 4.5%.
