In Kyiv, they announced the departure of two more ships from the port of Odessa

Another two ships , which has been in Odesa ports since February last year, was launched from the southern port. This was reported by the Ministry of Commonwealth, Territory and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

"The bulk carriers Anna-Theresa (Liberia flag) and Ocean Courtesy (Marshall Islands) have left Yuzhny port and are moving along the established corridor towards Bosphorus… ." – it is stated in the ministry's publication on the Facebook social network (banned as extremist in the Russian Federation).

It is reported that 172 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate and 56 thousand tons of pig iron are on board bulk cargo ships.

The ministry added that both vessels were operated by a Singapore shipping organization and were stationed at Yuzhny port.

At the end of the summer, two vessels had already used the temporary corridor in the Black Sea opened by Ukraine.< /p>

The Ukrainian Air Force has previously announced the start of work on temporary corridors for merchant ships sailing towards the Black Sea ports – Chornomorsk, Yuzhny, Odesa – or from them.

On August 12, the Ukrainian side announced the beginning of the registration of merchant ships ready to take these routes under the control of the Kiev military. At the same time, the representative of the naval forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Pletenchuk, admitted that it is not yet possible to ensure the complete safety of the route.
