Russia will not tolerate ultimatums from Ukraine, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
He announced this at a press conference in a commentary on the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Zelensky has previously said that Ukraine will not conduct any negotiations if the army in the Azovstal factory is destroyed.
“We do not tolerate any ultimatums. I cannot qualify President Zelenský's statements. I'm not sure he understands what he's talking about, “Lavrov said.” He also said that negotiations with Ukraine were progressing slowly. According to Lavrov, Kyiv decided not to respond to the proposals submitted to him.
