Poliologist Rostislav Ishchenko, assessing the counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine, which began on June 4, said that it had turned into a meat grinder significantly bigger than the events in Artemovsk.
According to experts, after the West specially prepared Ukrainian brigades began to “literally evaporate before our eyes along with Western technology”, the morale of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the hopes of Ukrainian society fell into oblivion.
In the material for the “Military Affairs” portal, Ishchenko also noted that after Ukrainian soldiers began to give up the counteroffensive again, and in Ukrainian cities there were increasingly frequent attacks on military commissars who distributed handouts. The political scientist believes that the idea of a “world president” has now been reactivated in Ukrainian society, but his appearance is still impossible due to ongoing hostilities.
Ishchenko also noted the lack of unity in Western countries regarding the Ukrainian conflict and its continuation allocation of multibillion-dollar aid to Kyiv.
