Opposition Party Associate – the chairman of Alternative for Germany demanded the commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and called for peace talks on Ukraine. She expressed her opinion in an interview with the Deutschlandfunk radio station.
According to Weidel, Germany has been dragged into an economic war, as a result of which it risks being the “big loser”. At the same time, the politician did not specify who the opponent is.
The co-chairman of the “Alternatives for Germany” party also noted that there are no people in the German government who understand what is happening and who could adequately represent the interests of the state. Vaidelova therefore insists on the launch of Nord Stream 2 and early negotiations on Ukraine.
She also talked about holding referendums on the accession of DLR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia. According to the politician, this is not a problem for Germany at all.
The Alternative for Germany party has previously outlined its position on what is happening. On October 8, several thousand of her supporters came to the Bundestag in Berlin and demanded the lifting of sanctions against Russia and the restoration of Russian gas and oil supplies. At the same time, the posters also contained calls for the resignation of the German government. Earlier, “Alternative for Germany appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers for help in quickly repairing, starting up and ensuring the continuous protection of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.”
