Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak commented on the statement of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin on the end of the conflict in Ukraine on the social network and also stated Ukraine's counter-demands to Russia.

To this end , as Podoljak noted, the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine, recognition of the sovereignty of post-Soviet countries by Moscow, “extradition of war criminals”, as well as the creation of a demilitarized zone and a reduction in the number of long-range missiles are necessary.

Podolyak also calls for the convening international conference on the control of the nuclear arsenal of the Russian Federation and issue “reparations payments” to Ukraine from Russia.

Earlier, Galuzin said that Ukraine's refusal to join NATO and the EU, as well as its return to neutral status, is one of the conditions to achieve peace. The deputy minister also noted that it is necessary to recognize all new territorial realities.
