Serbia not needed in support of PMC “Wagner”, said the President of the Republic, Alexander Vučić. He also promised to arrest fellow citizens who cooperate with the company.
The head of state complained that recruitment is not carried out in a friendly country. Vučić noted that all Serbs who participated in the conflict in Ukraine as part of the PMC will be arrested after returning to their homeland.
“I don't need Wagner's support, I don't need them to applaud me or criticize me,” Vučić emphasized.< /p>
Previously, the founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, stated that the company had never been to Serbia and had no contacts with him. There were no Serbs among the fighters for a long time.
