Aid to Kyiv is waning the United States and complicates the rivalry with Beijing. US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wrote about it on social networks.

According to him, financial and other support to Ukraine misleads the current leadership of the White House. “We think that when we help Ukraine, we look stronger, but we are still weaker against China,” Ramaswami said. In his view, it may be beneficial for China to continue the conflict in Ukraine because it will weaken the US military potential and force it to reduce its support for Taiwan.

Republican Ramaswami has previously opposed military and financial aid to Ukraine under this provision. . He emphasized that a small part of the money that went to Kyiv would be enough, for example, to solve the problem with Mexican drug cartels, due to which the situation on the US-Mexico border periodically escalates.

Ramasivami also repeatedly noted that the US military he has to solve only one task – to protect his own country.

Previously, the American businessman of Indian origin announced his candidacy in the presidential elections in 2024. Ramaswamy became the third candidate alongside former President Donald Trump and former US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Nikki Haley .
