Fourth generation of American all-weather fighters F -15 arrived at the air base in Romania to “strengthen NATO's presence” in the Black Sea region.
As stated on the Alliance's air command website, US aircraft have added air forces to the Italian and Romanian air forces to provide a military presence in the Black Sea region.
The Russian authorities have previously announced the unprecedented activity of NATO troops near the country's western borders. NATO calls its military initiatives a policy of suppressing “Russian aggression.” Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov also stressed that Russia does not pose a threat to anyone, but will not overlook actions that are potentially dangerous to his interests.
