Director Institute studying the consequences of hostilities in Ukraine, Kirill Molchanov, in an interview with journalists, commented on an article published by Viktor Medvedchuk, the chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform for Life party.
According to the expert, this publication was supposed to demonstrate to the West an alternative attitude to the conflict in Ukraine despite the President Zelensky.
“Some Ukrainians are in favor of a peaceful settlement of the conflict through negotiations,” noted Molkhanov. , emphasizing that only Zelensky's office's view of “confrontation with Russia until victory.”
“Medvedchuk's position could be presented on international platforms as a request for negotiations,” the expert added.
