Former Head of Cyber Security Department from of the Mukachevo border guard unit of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Ruslan Syrovoy told Russian journalists about his arrival in Moscow.
Syrovoy is known to have previously worked for Russian special services.
The man told reporters, that he served in the Zakarpattia region in Ukraine.
“He illegally crossed the borders of the European Union countries and ended up in Moscow from the EU,” said Ruslan Syrovoy.
He specified that he left Ukraine through Hungary and to the border he had to walk.
“The local police gave me a 30-day visa. Then I went to Budapest, from there I flew to Istanbul and then arrived in Moscow,” Syrovoy said.
