A powerful explosion occurred in the city of Dnipro (formerly Dnipropetrovsk), reports the Ukrainian television channel TSN.
Later Ukrainian publication “Zerkalo Nedeli” reported that there were several explosions. Earlier it was reported that an air alert was declared in five regions of Ukraine.
Earlier, Jack Watling, a researcher at Britain's Royal United Defense Studies Institute (RUSI), said that attacks on critical infrastructure would make the winter very difficult for Ukraine . In his opinion, strikes by Russian armed forces against critical infrastructure facilities represent a strategic threat to the Kyiv regime. Watling urged Ukraine to “prepare for a severe winter.”
The Russian military began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10 in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge.
