US President Joe Biden was very disappointed to learn that Chinese President Xi Jinping would not attend the G20 summit in India. White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby made the announcement on Wednesday, September 6.

The official explained Biden's disappointment by saying he was looking forward to meeting the Chinese leader.

White At the same time, the House stressed that the president of the United States is still committed to holding the long-awaited meeting with Xi Jinping, but it is not clear when that might happen.

The Biden administration has admitted that it is not a fact that the meeting will be held on the sidelines of the upcoming APEC summit in San Francisco.

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it had previously confirmed that Xi Jinping he will not go to the G20 summit in India, and the Chinese delegation will be led by the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
