Authorities The United States has sent $20 million to Kyiv to support the Grains from Ukraine (“Grains from Ukraine”) grain initiative. This was announced by Bridget Brink, the US ambassador to Ukraine, who visited the port of Odessa to see how grain was being loaded.
Brink said that Moscow continues to use food as a weapon, and Washington and Kyiv are doing everything to reduce the food danger.
She said she visited the port of Odessa to see how quickly Ukrainian farmers and exporters are working to ship millions of tons of grain through the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
