The trial of a Russian military pilot whose plane was shot down in March 2022 is being prepared in Ukraine. This was announced by the country's Prosecutor General's Office.
“A pilot of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation who killed a local resident in Chernigov , will be judged,” reads the message on the Telegram channel. The Prosecutor General's Office says.
It should be noted that the indictment of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor's Office filed a case against a soldier of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Allegedly, a Russian pilot, after his plane was shot down, ejected and landed in Chernihiv on the territory of a private household. He then allegedly shot a local resident with a pistol. No further details have been provided.
Russian soldiers who have returned from Ukrainian captivity have previously reported that torture was used against them to extract testimony and statements necessary for the Kiev regime.
