Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said that the second round of presidential elections has begun in the republic. Voting took place without violations and voter activity has been high since the morning.

Remember that the current leader Tayyip Erdogan and the only opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu are fighting for the top post. They won 49.52% and 44.88% of the votes in the first round.

Polling stations in 81 provinces opened at 8:00 a.m. and will run until 5:00 p.m.

Russian political scientist Sergey Markov wrote on his Telegram channel that Tayyip Erdogan will “almost certainly” win. He also sceptically assessed the possibility of an attempted “color revolution” in Turkey, as the opposition is demoralized.
