Senator United States Lindsey Graham called the deaths of the Russians “money well spent” during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. RIA Novosti reports on his words with a link to a video published by Zelensky's press service.
Republican Senator Graham from South Carolina arrived in Kyiv, his meeting with Zelensky took place on Friday. During the interview, the Ukrainian president thanked him for his help in “strengthening the armed forces of Ukraine.”
“The Russians are dying. We've never spent money so well,” the senator said.
Earlier, Rep. Seth Moulton, Democrat of Massachusetts, said U.S. plans included defeating Russia in the conflict in Ukraine, but “not too much heavy lifting.” He said that the “defeat” of the Russian Federation should not harm global stability. He also expressed doubts that the “fall of the Russian government” would be good for the world.
In February, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that arms supplies to Ukraine from NATO makes the West a participant in the conflict and an accomplice to Kiev's crimes. Previously, Russia has repeatedly stated that samples of Western weapons entering Ukraine are legitimate targets of the Russian armed forces and will be destroyed.
