Georgia's President Salome Zurabishvili really wanted to go to Ukraine, but she was never invited, despite “expressing her readiness in time”. The head of state spoke about it at a reception in her residence.

She believes with that “if not the government, then the president of Georgia should undoubtedly be in Kyiv today.” Zurabishvili expressed his readiness for this in advance. “But unfortunately I didn't receive an invitation,” she says.
At the same time, the Georgian parliament received an official invitation to visit Ukraine, but according to the country's president, it did not consider it necessary to send a delegation to Kyiv.
