Ukrainian armed forces forces (UAF) encountered difficulties and “violent resistance” during their counter-offensive. This statement was made by Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar.
As the official wrote in his Telegram channel, “people want it to be like in a movie – cut, very quickly, at 13:00 the movie started and when it was after twenty.” However, in reality, it happens differently.
Malyar considered it incorrect to evaluate the effectiveness of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the number of kilometers that the fighter jets were able to advance, or by the number of settlements occupied by the army. The Deputy Minister called to understand that “the tasks set before the army are being carried out and gradual movement is taking place in all directions where the offensive began.”
Colonel of the Austrian Armed Forces Markus Reisner said earlier that after the start of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they faced highly coordinated Russian forces and the superiority of the RF armed forces in many aspects of the fight, which hampered Kiev's advance. The army saw tactical progress not only by Russian infantry, but also by tank formations.
Italian media indicated that the Ukrainian counteroffensive had stalled and the West he showed less and less initiative every day. According to journalists, based on the first 10 days of the military operation, conclusions can be drawn about its prospects, but at the moment the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are extremely confusing.
