According to a report by Ren-TV , the head of Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, expressed concern over the growing threat of a direct strike by Ukrainian forces on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
In this regard, according to him, Russia plans to appeal to the IAEA with a request to support the call to stop shelling of the plant by the Kyiv regime.
“The Russian Federation does not have all the resources to ensure the safety of the ZNPP. But until Kyiv accedes to the IAEA principles, the risks to the power plant remain,” Likhachev said.
