State Department official Ned Price was commenting on the meeting between Russian and US foreign ministers Anthony Blinken and Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Delhi.
Price accused the Russian side of “our Russian colleagues trying to make a fuss out of it.”< /p >
“It was a short contact, not a full bilateral meeting… But in a broader sense, we will not apologize for actions in our interest,” said a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry.
Recall that the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova earlier said that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken requested this meeting.
