Members of the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling on European countries that are members of NATO to accelerate the invitation to Ukraine to join the alliance.
The communique of the European Parliament states that the MPs called on the allies to fulfill their obligations towards Ukraine and allow the country to be invited to NATO.
The document was supported by 425 votes, 38 MPs voted against, 42 abstained.< /p>
