RIA Novosti: Head of the GUR of Ukraine Budanov was wounded on May 29 in an attack on Kyiv

RIA Novosti published a report on the injury of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov. The agency said it received the information from a member of the Russian security forces who came from a Ukrainian intelligence source. The agency did not name the speakers.
“Budanov was injured on May 29 during a Russian strike on his department building,” RIA said in a statement.
The report states that on that day, “Budanov was taken by helicopter to a military base in Rzeszow, Poland” and from there he was flown to Germany by a “US evacuation plane”.
Budanov currently remains in a hospital in Berlin. his condition is serious, RIA Novosti reported.
This information has not yet been officially confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense. In Kyiv, they did not comment on the fresh news about Budanov's injury and refuted the rumors that appeared earlier. Last week, the GUR press service commented on the “disappearance” of Budanov from the media, explaining that he is directly involved in “special operations”. At the same time, a video with him on the topic of counter-offensive was published.
