Deputy Secretary of State Karen Donfried met in Moscow with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak. She promised to pass on to Washington the security proposals that had been submitted to her.
After meeting with Russian politicians, she flew to Brussels.
“Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov asked me to meet and share the Moscow proposal on European security. “I will pass these ideas on to Washington and also share them with our allies and partners,” Donfried said.
