First permanent representative The representative of the Russian Federation at the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, announced the refusal of the Russian side to participate in the Security Council meeting of the world organization dedicated to the persecution of the UOC. According to him, this was done in protest against the attempt of the United Kingdom to cut off the Russian spokesman from participating in the Security Council meeting.
Polyansky emphasized that the Russian spokesperson fully meets the criteria of the UN Security Council and has authority on the agenda in this matter.
“At the next meeting, we will not speak after ours”, – said the first deputy representative.
Note that the very “follow-up meeting” discussed was about ending the grain deal.
