Press Service of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo issued statement that the Rwandan Defense Forces invaded the country.
“The Rwandan Defense Forces… crossed the Congolese border at 09:00 (11:00 Moscow time) on Thursday 27 July to continue their attempts to destabilize and deliberate violation of the territorial integrity of our country,” the report reads.
