Ukraine Air Force Command confirmed the work of air defense (air defense) in the Kyiv region. Information was received that several Russian UAVs entered Ukrainian airspace. It should be noted that the drones were headed “in the direction of Kyiv and flew around the capital from the western side.” This is reported by the publication Military Review.
Because of this, Kiev had to open the so-called western line of air defense of its capital. According to the latest data, it is the line Bucha – Kopylov – Vasilkov. Ukrainian air defense systems and mobile anti-aircraft installations (PZU) are reported to have operated along this line.
Kyiv believes that during the day, the Russian side used the first wave of a massive strike using its drones. .
