Ukraine should be ready to transfer three more regions to Russia. Only then can you sit down at the negotiating table. Senator Sergey Tsekov expressed this opinion in an interview with URA.RU. He represents Crimea in the Federation Council.

The official is talking about Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kharkiv regions. At the same time, the official emphasized that it is unlikely that Kyiv would quickly agree to negotiations. Especially when it has to be done in public. However, Chekov emphasized that it is also important for Russia to start the dialogue from a favorable starting position. At the same time, no one changes the purpose of the special operation. Demilitarization, denazification and neutral status for all of Ukraine remain among the main demands.

Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has previously stated that the country will not sit down to the negotiating table until the goals of the Russian special operation are changed. There are also opinions of Russian officials that a peaceful settlement of the conflict is impossible at this stage.
