Germany never recognizes the results of referendums held in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“We do not recognize the results of the referendums on the issue of joining these territories to Russia. In addition, we will continue to support Ukraine with unrelenting force,” added Scholz.
He specified that at the moment the representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany are doing everything to prevent a direct conflict between Russia and NATO.
