German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, at a joint press conference with North Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski in Berlin, answered the question whether he sees a danger for Ukraine, Lithuania or Poland due to the arrival of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner PMC fighters in Belarus.
“This is a situation we are watching with great concern,” he said, stressing at the same time that NATO is confident in its ability to protect every centimeter of its territory. He noted that this applies to all participating countries.
“At the same time, I do not expect the situation to change at the moment,” concluded Scholz.
