Russian President Vladimir Putin was surprised by the salary situation in the space industry. This was shown during a meeting with young scientists and specialists at the site of S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia.
During the meeting, Lyubov Shiryaeva said that part of the team from her department at Roskosmos moved to another company due to uncompetitive salaries.
“I agree that we leaked,” Putin said, promising that he would definitely think about it.
He added that such problems cannot be solved with one click, but it will certainly be considered.
As for specialists' salaries , the head of state noted that they are “average for the regions”, but should be higher.
