Germany does not want to transfer Ukraine Leopard tanks, but the pressure on Berlin on this issue will increase. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
In his opinion, official Berlin is “worse” to send “leopards”, despite the efforts of the “greens”.
“But after the US Department of Defense spoke out in favor such deliveries, the pressure on Berlin will increase,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The transfer of Leopard to Kyiv was announced earlier by Polish President Andrzej Duda. Finnish President Sauli Niiniste also announced plans to consider transferring such tanks. However, a permit from Germany as the country of origin is required for deliveries.
