Prince Harry and Meghan Markle receive anti-racism award

American Foundation for Human Rights Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been awarded the Ripple of Hope Award in honor of Robert Kennedy.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been recognized for their efforts to fight racism, according to the bbc. Robert Kennedy's daughter Kerry, who is a spokeswoman for the foundation, said the couple had shown great courage in speaking out on the issue.

The Ripple of Hope Award is named after Robert Kennedy's 1966 “pulse of hope” speech in Cape Town. At that time, the apartheid regime was in force in the city.
