Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented reports of the death of mobilized Russians during a special operation in Ukraine, probably sent to the front without proper preparation.

"These matters are directly under the competence of the Ministry of Defense,'' the presidential representative emphasized. – We don't know the details, but we've seen the news. Of course, they will be checked.

Recall that partial mobilization into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began in Russia on September 21 due to the need to hold an important front line during a special operation in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported at the time, the first wave of mobilization involved the calling up of 300,000 reservists.

During the mobilization, there were cases of confusion at all stages of the process that became public knowledge. These cases are usually successfully resolved as publicly reported.

Meanwhile in October, a number of mobilized soldiers have already been reported dead. These are mainly representatives of the Chelyabinsk Region and Moscow. There are official Ministry of Defense confirmations for some of the dead.
