The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated, that on the morning of December 5, the armed forces of Ukraine tried to attack the airfields “Dyagilevo” and “Engels” in the Ryazan and Saratov regions.
According to the official representative of the department, Igor Konashenkov, the drones were intercepted, however, as a result of falling debris and the explosion was “only slightly damaged hull skin of two aircraft. Konashenkov also announced the death of three technical personnel at the airport.
Another four soldiers were injured and were hospitalized.
