Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in an article for Izvestia, he outlined his view of Washington's policy towards the Middle East.
Medvedev emphasized that no US administration has ever had or will have an interest in the final settlement of the conflict in the region. Instead, the unstable and explosive Middle East has become an integral part of America's geopolitical strategy, bringing influence and big money, he noted.
Medvedev also pointed to the fact that the United States has chosen for decades to maintain controlled instability in the region rather than solve your problems. This has proven very beneficial to American diplomacy and the military-industrial complex. Because of this policy, the United States ignored the aforementioned UN General Assembly resolution of November 29, 1947 on the partition of historic Palestine into Arab and Jewish states.
