Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov also participated in communications with Yevgeny Prigozhin in June. His statement, quoted by Belta, suggests that the latter helped establish the connection.
“The conversation is euphoric. Yevgeny is completely euphoric,” Lukashenko said of the emotional tone of the beginning of the conversation. .
According to him, the first half hour of the conversation with Prigozhin was conducted “exclusively in swearing”.
“There was 10 times more swearing than normal vocabulary,” Lukashenko said: “Of course he apologized and he started swearing at me.”
