Lukashenko: Russian officials “sat under the broom” during the Wagner uprising

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, commenting on the June 24 Wagner PMC military mutiny, said that many Russian officials “sat under the broom” during it , what's going on.
“When there was an explosion, as President Putin called it, this unrest in Russia, everybody kind of sat under a broom,” Lukashenko said.

He noted , that the “brave” were the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, Patriarch Kirill, “a few people – that's all.” At the same time, he said that many who did not comment on the situation began to speak up only after the end of all the actions.
“And after the fight, we can wave our hands, oh how we can and advise: “Wet, wet and wet,” said the head of the Belarusian state.
