State Duma deputy Andrey Lugovoy supported his colleague Sultan Khamzaev, who proposed to ban officials of all levels from leaving the country when a regime of anti-terrorist operations is introduced in the regions.
“Our homeland was in danger” , – he said in an interview with NSN, commenting on the events related to the attempted uprising of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner's PMC.
According to him, if this phrase was said earlier, it represents historical stories, then this story was before our eyes.< /p>
At the same time, Lugovoy stated that it is necessary to “see who at that moment decided to leave the territory of Russia” and find out if there were such stories.
“I fully support this proposal”, – Lugovoy said.
He noted that he does not yet know the specific names of the officials who left the country during the attempted coup.
