“Beglov is rejoicing and almost openly celebrating the expulsion of Prigozhin,” reports Sobchak.
The blogger quotes the governor of the northern capital, with whom he spoke with officials and members of the city's legislature: “You and I managed to protect our city. We have sustainable economic development and stable political situations.(…) They are not no quarrels (…) The hard days we have experienced show that our joint activities are aimed at the sustainability of St. Petersburg's development (…) Otherwise, dirty business could take over the main sector of the city's economy. It would be a completely different situation.
Based on the speech of Alexander Beglov, Ksenia Sobchak states that the words about “difficult days”, “quarrels” and “dirty business” were evidently addressed by the governor to his enemy Yevgeny Prigozhin, who has been working against him together with the “team” since 2019 .
