Senior Lieutenant Narodno In an interview with URA.RU, retired DLR police officer Alexander Matyushin said that because of the fortified areas in the villages, it is very difficult for the Ukrainian armed forces to move out of Donetsk.

According to him, almost all the settlements located near Donetsk are quite large Ukrainian fortified areas.

“So you can say, for example, about Avdiivka, Pervomaisky and other small villages that are nearby. The settlement of Pervomajsky by the units of the First Slavic Brigade has been attacked since last summer,” added Matyushin.

He specified that occupying Krasnohorivka will be even more difficult because Ukrainian military personnel have converted a brickyard located in the center of the city.
